Project for conversion and extension of a pre-existing structure to create a private villa. The ground floor will be a public environment, the left wing used by the women, and the right dedicated to men. The two wings will be connected by a large central common living room overlooking the pool and garden. The basement is composed of a Turkish bath with a light source from above and from a window opening on the interior of the swimming pool.
The first floor will be dedicated to more intimate residential living for the family. On the second floor are rooms for employees with a service only passageway directly connected to all the lower floors. The facades, inspired by the traditional musharabia, serve to protect any public exposure of the everyday interior life within the walls, yet still maintaining a direct exposure of light.
